Multi-Site GA4 & BigQuery Reporting

Know which websites need attention—and where to look next.

See performance across your websites in one place, then drill into the site behind the change. Shared GA4 definitions and a reusable BigQuery model help your team compare results and spend less time stitching separate reports together.

01

Find the site behind the change

Start with the portfolio view, then investigate the property and acquisition channels driving the movement.

02

Make comparisons you can explain

Use shared definitions for engagement and key events, with differences and reporting limits documented.

03

Reuse the reporting foundation

Replace repeated exports and separate reporting routines with one scheduled model and a consistent report.

What changes for your business

Spend less time assembling comparisons. More time improving the right site.

A portfolio total can hide a problem on one website. The combined view lets you see which sites are contributing, where performance is changing, and which questions deserve investigation before you assign budget or team time.

Judge the result by reporting preparation time and whether your team can identify the site, channel, and agreed key event behind a portfolio change.

What we build

A portfolio view, site detail, and the model behind both.

01

Check exports and agree on definitions

I review up to 5 web properties, existing export coverage, dataset locations, and event definitions. We agree on up to 10 KPIs, 5 key-event mappings, and which comparisons are meaningful.

02

Build the BigQuery reporting model

I build the SQL reporting layer using up to 90 days of available native exports. Property identifiers and documented metric rules make the combined data traceable to each source.

03

Validate portfolio and site comparisons

I reconcile agreed totals with the exports, test each property filter and key-event mapping, and document GA4 interface differences. The report includes up to 10 visuals and 2 consolidated revision rounds.

04

Schedule refresh and hand over

I configure daily model refresh and deliver the SQL, report, metric dictionary, validation notes, and walkthrough in your accounts. Cloud costs and any rollout beyond these properties remain separate.

A clearly scoped first implementation

Multi-Site Reporting Pilot

$3,500 USD · one-time build
  • Up to five GA4 web properties with existing native exports
  • One BigQuery SQL reporting model and daily scheduled refresh
  • One Looker Studio report with portfolio and site-detail views
  • Up to 10 KPIs, 10 visuals, and 5 key-event mappings
  • Up to 90 days of already exported history
  • Validation, metric dictionary, walkthrough, and two revision rounds

21 calendar days after complete requirements and access. Software and cloud usage costs are separate.

Is this the right starting point?

A good fit when…

  • You manage two to five GA4 web properties.
  • Native BigQuery exports already work and contain usable history.
  • You can agree on common KPIs and up to five key-event mappings.
  • Your team needs both a portfolio view and individual website detail.

How we check the finished system

  • Reconcile agreed totals against the available BigQuery exports.
  • Test each property filter and the agreed key-event mappings.
  • Verify scheduled refresh and explain differences from the GA4 interface.

Work outside this package

New export setup, tracking repairs, cross-site identity resolution, historical data recovery, CRM and advertising integrations, and complex ecommerce models need a separate scope. Google Cloud usage costs are extra.

After the first implementation

Add properties, connect CRM outcomes and advertising costs, or feed the standardized model into recurring executive briefs and performance alerts.

Before we start

A few practical questions.

Do I need to know whether BigQuery is set up?

The build needs working native GA4 exports. If unsure, send your property list and export details before ordering so I can confirm readiness. Export setup is separate; raw-event history from before the export is not assumed available.

Can you recover history from before the export?

The base package uses up to 90 days of event data already exported to BigQuery. It does not promise recovery of earlier raw events. Any alternative historical source or backfill needs separate validation and scope.

Will the totals exactly match the GA4 interface?

We validate the model against exported data. GA4 interface totals can differ because of reporting identity, modeling, filters, and metric definitions. I document relevant differences instead of forcing a false match.

Can you count the same person once across websites?

Cross-property identity resolution and user deduplication are not included. Property-level users and sessions follow documented definitions. We will not label summed property users as unique people across the whole business.

What can we add after this pilot?

Additional properties, CRM outcomes, advertising costs, richer ecommerce models, or automated briefs can be scoped later. Tracking repair, ongoing monitoring, and cloud usage charges are separate from the fixed build fee.
